It's hard to believe that the year is half over! We are nearing the end of the first semester and there's still so much more to do! We have finally received our class set of netbooks! We are preparing to launch a whole new learning experience with project based learning. This will be an exciting time of learning, creating, collaborating, and thinking with your teacher and your classmates. We will read and write to discover more about ourselves and our community and the world. Ready? Set! Discover!

- I am a middle school English Language Arts teacher who loves her job! I have been teaching for 16 years. I enjoy reading all kinds of books and I enjoy sharing the books that I read with my students! I enjoy writing early in the morning before school. I usually write short memoir pieces, poems, or pieces about being a teacher. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My six year old niece's voice makes me smile. I enjoy sewing and gardening. I enjoy walking, biking, and golfing with my husband and our friends. I try to learn something new everyday.
